Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting functions in a manufacturing environment in Wisconsin. You will handle journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 2–3+ years of experience, strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and Epicor, and a detail-oriented, team-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed.
• Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts.
• Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and audits.
• Review transactions for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Support budget preparation and financial analysis activities.
• Maintain accounting records and documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
