Zentech is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team in Dallas. The role supports financial records, reports, and compliance with accounting standards within a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least three years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, with strong Excel and ERP software skills. This position emphasizes accuracy, discretion, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing: Create, issue, and send accurate bills, invoices, and credit memos.
• Payment Processing: Record incoming payments and match to customer accounts.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile AR ledger and verify transaction accuracy.
• Collections: Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Customer Service: Research and resolve billing inquiries from clients or internal teams.
• Record entries in the general ledger and reconcile with sub-ledgers.
• Prepare internal monthly financial statements and related reports.
• Analyze balance sheet and expense accounts; collaborate with PM, operations, purchasing, and accounting.
• Assist in forecasts and reports for cost, sales, bookings, backlog, headcount, and material data.
• Understand material costs, labor costs, overheads, inventory, and A/R status.
