Job summary

PIM Brands, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to support month-end close, journal entries, and variance analysis in a manufacturing setting at the Somerset, New Jersey site. The role involves labor-related entries, cost variances, and assisting with audits.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 1–2 years of manufacturing experience, with strong Excel skills and excellent communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Performs cost accounting activities on SAP process orders.
• Confirm PO confirmations and run weekly PO settlement."
• Prepare PO variance for Cost Manager Review.
• Prepare month-end journal entries, analyses, and reporting.
