Job summary

Akraya, Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Software Test Engineer / Equipment Software Validation Engineer to join the Equipment Engineering team.

You will test and validate software for manufacturing equipment used to produce robotic systems, instruments, and accessories, and collaborate with multiple engineering teams onsite. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience testing and qualifying software for manufacturing equipment, developing test plans, implementing automation, and supporting

Qualifications

2+ years of professional software testing experience with hands-on software validation.

Experience testing manufacturing equipment or automated devices.
Experience with automated software testing and test scripts.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, execute, document, and release software test plans, scripts, and automated testing programs for manufacturing equipment.
Perform software testing and validation to qualify equipment and ensure standards compliance.
Troubleshoot production software, analyze results, and recommend corrective actions.
Improve testing efficiency via automation practices.
Collaborate with Equipment, Manufacturing, Quality, and other teams for testing and validation.
