Job summary

Cummins Frankfort facility is seeking a Manufacturing Shop Operations Manager to lead manufacturing activities across the plant, ensuring safe, efficient, and productive performance. You will drive operational excellence, manage metrics, and collaborate with customers, suppliers, and shop floor teams to meet delivery and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Significant managerial and budgetary experience.
• Experience leading manufacturing operations and teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide Manufacturing Leadership across the plant, department, or multiple shifts to ensure safe, efficient, and productive performance.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost by setting clear expectations and leading continuous improvement.
• Establish and analyze key operational metrics to identify opportunities and drive accountability.
• Oversee production operations to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, shop floor employees, and stakeholders to support operational success.
• Lead annual operating plans, forecasting, and performance reviews to align operations with goals.
• Coach and develop employees through performance management and training.
• Foster a high-performing culture with workforce development and succession planning.
