Job summary

Glanbia Nutritionals, Inc. is seeking a skilled machine operator to assist the shift and help maintain production quality and safety standards. This full-time role requires following SOPs, supporting a busy manufacturing environment, and collaborating with teams across maintenance and quality.

You will follow supervisor guidance, help meet production schedules, document batch records, and escalate issues as needed to ensure accurate, safe operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Degree.
• Minimum of four years as a successful machine operator in a similar manufacturing environment.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Proficient personal computer skills including email, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
• Has well-established work habits that can be used to set an example for the workforce.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining the quality of production on the shift.
• Assist in meeting the shift productivity goals.
• Follow the production schedule and escalate issues to management as needed.
• Train employees and observe/correct as necessary.
• Audit batch records and recommend changes to reduce errors and improve efficiency.
• Complete work orders and record equipment problems.
• Assist in workplace accident investigations as necessary.
