Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, seeks a skilled shift supervisor to lead a manufacturing team and ensure production targets are met safely. You will set goals, supervise equipment operation, and manage daily maintenance activities.

You will train and discipline staff, monitor performance via reports, and maintain strict safety standards in a fast-paced environment. This role demands physical capability and reliable leadership.

Qualifications

• Previous team lead experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to train team members on equipment and production processes.
• Familiarity with safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set production goals and expectations.
• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment; set up and operate machinery.
• Operate forklift and adhere to safety policies.
• Inspect work in progress and finished product.
• Oversee daily preventive maintenance program.
• Track and report inventory and parts usage.
• Analyze production reports and scorecards.
• Train, promote, and discipline employees.
• Ensure safety rules are followed; supervise quality and production standards.
• Other duties as needed.
