Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Accountant for its Montgomery, OH manufacturing group to oversee the company’s general accounting operations and ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements. The role requires hands-on leadership, managing AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets, and the general ledger, with emphasis on inventory controls and cash flow.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of accounting experience in manufacturing, strong Excel and ERP proficiency, and proven staff leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum five years of general accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience overseeing multiple accounting functions such as AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, and GL.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and payroll.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure timely transactions.
• Develop and administer accounting policies and internal controls.
• Oversee inventory-related controls and cash flow management.
• Coordinate year-end audits and other required audits.
