Job summary

Truity Partners on the west side of Madison is seeking a temporary Senior Accountant to support the team for the next few months. Ideal candidate has Senior Accountant experience with strong preference for manufacturing industry background.

Key duties include month-end close, journal entries, depreciation tracking, and cost/inventory accounting. Suitable for professionals with a solid GL background and detail-oriented, analytical mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience preferred.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Experience with inventory accounting, cost accounting, and warranty reserve allocations is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post month-end journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Maintain fixed asset records and support depreciation tracking and reporting
• Perform inventory reconciliations and assist with inventory-related accounting activities
• Analyze and reconcile warranty reserves and related accounting allocations
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting
• Assist with cost accounting activities, including inventory, warranty, and related balance sheet account analysis
