Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Senior Accountant for a 9-month temporary contract in Pine Brook, NJ. You will lead month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations for a $50M manufacturing operation, with responsibilities spanning financial reporting, project accounting, revenue recognition, and cost accounting.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of accounting experience, manufacturing cost accounting and POC experience, strong US GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with manufacturing cost accounting and percentage-of-completion.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Support POC accounting and revenue recognition under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Analyze general ledger activity and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and Operations on costs and gross margin.
• Assist with audits, internal controls, and process improvements.
• Identify opportunities for ERP system enhancements and improved processes.
