We are seeking an initiative-taking Scheduler/Planner to develop and maintain an accurate and efficient production schedule. This role will strategically manage raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods inventory to ensure timely customer deliveries while upholding Auto Bolt's financial responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Develop and manage production schedules based on customer demand, material availability, and manufacturing capability.
2. Collaborate with Engineering to coordinate tooling in support of the production schedule.
3. Analyze Production Requirements Planning (PRP) to optimize stock levels for critical items and achieve inventory goals.
4. Oversee inventory cycle counts for Raw and WIP materials, ensuring accuracy.
5. Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to schedule timely and accurate material deliveries, maintaining inventory objectives.
6. Collaborate closely with Customer Service to establish reliable delivery commitments.
7. Proactively engage with Operations to identify resource needs and contribute to capacity planning.
8. Ensure the accuracy of lead times within routings.
9. Anticipate scheduling conflicts and adjust production plans proactively.
10. Regularly review and update Run rates for precise scheduling and standard costing.
11. Provide comprehensive training to new operators on the ERP system.

Qualifications and Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Proven strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability
• Understanding of manufacturing processes
• Proficient in MS Office; comfortable with technology
• Experience with the Plex ERP system is a plus, but not required.
