Job summary

Reading Bakery Systems is seeking a hands-on Safety and Training Manager to lead safety on the manufacturing floor, with regular travel to Indianapolis and our Pennsylvania technology center. Based in Robesonia, PA, you will build and sustain practical safety programs, train supervisors, and ensure hazard controls are in place.

You will partner with department managers to integrate safe work practices into daily operations, document training, and close corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of manufacturing safety leadership experience.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA requirements and practical hazard controls.
• Experience creating safety documentation, coordinating and delivering training, and managing workers’ compensation claims.

Responsibilities

• Build a practical safety program with current written programs, usable procedures, and records.
• Lead investigations and coach supervisors to embed safe work practices.
• Coordinate training with internal experts and outside providers and ensure reinforcement of training.
• Own workers’ compensation administration from injury reporting to claim closure.
