Job summary

Kroger facility in Irving, TX is seeking a Lead Safety & Compliance professional to guide and monitor safety programs, ensuring OSHA and Kroger standards are met. You will coordinate with the plant team to reach safety goals, maintain the Emergency Response Plan, and oversee incident investigations.

Ideal candidates will have OSHA 10 Hour or SafetyTech training, First Aid certification, strong analytical and communication skills, and a track record in regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10 Hour or SafetyTech Training.
• CRP/First Aid Certification.
• Ability to read/interpret safety documents.
• Behavioral Based Safety experience preferred.
• Compliance/regulatory experience with knowledge of applicable requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide updates to Leadership on safety concerns and corrective actions.
• Manage compilation of reports and audits for regulatory agencies.
• Develop and maintain Emergency Response Plan to meet standards.
• Maintain knowledge of FDA/OSHA/EPA/local regulations.
• Administer Respiratory Protection Plan per standards.
• Lead development and training of safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure reporting compliance forms are filed as required.
