Responsibilities

• Plan and implement safety policies in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Train managers and employees in site safety practices and fire prevention.
• Inspect facilities to detect hazards and implement corrective measures.
• Prepare accident analyses for internal use and regulators.
• Maintain safety files and report to regulatory agencies.
• Represent the organization in safety groups and programs.
