Job summary

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Bachelor's degree related to Occupational Safety and Health/Environmental or 3 years' experience in a related field.
• Proficiency with common software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Means and ability to travel within region to other branches; occasional travel outside of regions to participate in safety audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety performance and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA).
• Conduct safety trainings and culture-building activities for branch teammates.
• Collaborate with EHS teammates to ensure cross-division consistency and share best practices.
• Coordinate with JHSC for audits and program reviews and develop topics for meetings.
• Prepare content and ensure regular toolbox talks and safety meetings are conducted.
• Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Perform scheduled safety and compliance inspections and document findings.
• Maintain a Safety Inspection and Auditing Program.
• Assist branches in annual safety reviews, PPE assessments, and equipment certifications.
• Utilize Intelex to document health and safety matters promptly.
