Nucor Rebar Fabrication is seeking a Safety Specialist for the Southwest region, based in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on implementing field, shop, and office safety programs and training while ensuring compliance with IIPP, OSHA, and state regulations.

Frequent travel to job sites is required to uphold safety standards. The ideal candidate has OSHA 30 with additional certifications, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years construction safety & health experience.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• OSHA 30 required; OSHA 500/510 preferred within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Support field and shop safety programs and audits at projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct safety training, investigations, and reporting.
• Visit job sites frequently to assess safety plans and conditions.
• Assist with accident reviews and root-cause investigations.
• Maintain safety records and coordinate with supervisors and management.
