Job summary

ESFM, the facilities management division of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Safety Manufacturing Manager to lead safety and workers' compensation support for local units in Florence, KY. The role focuses on reducing claims through training, site inspections, policy implementation, and regular communication.

The ideal candidate will travel up to 40%, ensure OSHA/compliance, develop loss prevention programs, provide manager training, and deliver monthly status reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Experience implementing occupational health and safety programs.
• Ability to conduct investigations and evaluations and evaluating cost and risk factors.
• Ability to interpret and apply a variety of laws, rules and regulations.
• Excellent presentation and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 40%.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Experience with OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 40% to sites for safety inspections.
• Ensure facilities comply with OSHA and safety standards.
• Develop and administer loss prevention and control programs.
• Provide safety training to managers and staff.
• Prepare monthly status reports and communicate findings.
• Monitor workers' compensation trends and injury management strategies.
• Coordinate return-to-work processes for injured workers.
