Anduril Industries is seeking experienced Manufacturing Safety Engineers to join our Quincy team and embed safety into production systems. You will apply formal risk assessment methods to equipment, fixtures, and test stations, identifying hazards and designing them out in partnership with EHS and engineering teams.

You’ll be the on-the-floor technical authority to keep factories safe while moving at velocity.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing/machine safety, equipment or controls engineering with ownership of risk assessments.
• Hands-on experience performing formal machine and task-based risk assessments.
• Experience with machine safeguarding and OSHA 29 CFR 1910 general-industry requirements, including lockout/tagout.

Responsabilités

• Lead formal machine and task-based risk assessments on production equipment and processes; document hazards and controls.
• Review and validate safety aspects of work instructions and training materials; develop Job Hazard Analyses (JHA).
• Engineer and review production equipment safety features and test equipment with EHS and controls engineering teams.
• Define safety requirements for safety-related control systems and verify implementation.
• Collaborate with EHS to ensure controls meet OSHA general-industry standards (machine guarding, lockout/tagout, PPE).
• Support incident investigations and drive corrective engineering actions.
