Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Hazleton, PA is seeking a Manufacturing Reliability Technician to keep production lines running safely. You’ll perform preventive maintenance and rapid troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems, and support start-up and modifications.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in a manufacturing maintenance role, plus the ability to read schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years in a manufacturing/industrial/food production maintenance role.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
• Experience with mechanical/electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance including inspections, adjustments, and scheduled repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems quickly.
• Respond to emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Document work orders and equipment history accurately.
• Assist with equipment installs, modifications, testing, and start-up.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality on reliability improvements.
• Participate in continuous improvement and process enhancement initiatives.
• Support plant shutdowns, changeovers, and special projects.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area following procedures.

If yes, you might be our next Manufacturing Reliability Technician in Hazelton, PA.Your Focus AreasPreventive maintenance: inspections, adjustments, and scheduled repairs.Rapid troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems.Emergency response to breakdowns to reduce downtime.Accurate documentation of work orders and equipment history.Support for equipment installs, modifications, testing, and start-up.Collaboration with Production, Engineering, and Quality on reliability improvements.Participation in continuous improvement and process enhancement initiatives.Assistance with plant shutdowns, changeovers, and special projects.Uphold a safe, clean, and organized work area while following all procedures.Must-Have QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED (or equivalent).At least 2 years in a manufacturing/industrial/food production maintenance role.Mechanical aptitude and strong diagnostic skills.Working knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC.Ability to interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and manuals.Experience with hand tools, power tools, measuring tools, and diagnostic instruments.Team player who can also work independently; organized problem solver.Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs arise.Nice-to-HavesApprenticeship, technical degree, or trade school in Maintenance, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, Electrical Technology, or similar.Exposure to PLCs, automation platforms, VFDs, robotics, and industrial controls.Trade certifications (Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Welding, etc.).Food manufacturing experience and GMP familiarity.Physical & EnvironmentalStand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and climb through your shift.Lift/move up to 50 lbs routinely.Work at heights and in confined spaces when needed.Wear required PPE.Work around moving machinery, industrial equipment, varying temperatures, noise, and industrial chemicals.
