Job summary

Novelis is seeking a Recruiter to support hourly hiring across our Ohio manufacturing operations. This onsite role can be based at Ashville or Warren plant, partnering with plant leadership to drive large-scale hiring initiatives.

You will build pipelines, develop sourcing strategies, manage full-cycle recruiting, travel 40-50% across Ohio, and collaborate with HR Partners and operations to meet workforce needs while delivering a positive candidate experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably manufacturing/industrial or high-volume hourly hiring.
• Experience partnering directly with frontline leaders and operational stakeholders is preferred.
• Strong sourcing skills and ability to build talent pipelines in competitive labor markets.
• Willingness to travel 40-50% across Ohio, with occasional travel to other locations.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing, skilled trades, maintenance, operations, warehouse, and production roles across Ohio facilities.
• Partner with plant leaders, HR Business Partners, and operations to understand workforce needs and develop recruiting plans.
• Build and maintain robust pipelines of qualified talent for current and future hiring demands.
• Develop sourcing strategies using job boards, community partnerships, referrals, social media, and events.
• Plan and support hiring events, job fairs, and community outreach to drive applicant flow and strengthen the employer brand.
• Manage candidate movement through sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, and onboarding coordination.
• Analyze recruiting metrics and labor market trends to improve outcomes and candidate experience.
• Advise hiring managers on recruiting best practices and market conditions.
• Ensure positive candidate experience with consistent communication across stakeholders.
• Leverage recruiting processes to improve efficiency and quality of hires.
