Novelis is seeking a Recruiter to support hourly hiring across our Ohio manufacturing operations. This onsite role can be based in Ashville or Warren, OH, with travel across Ohio and occasional visits to other facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing, skilled trades, maintenance, operations, warehouse, and production roles across Ohio facilities.
• Partner with plant leaders, HR Business Partners, and operations to understand workforce needs and develop proactive recruiting plans.
• Build and maintain robust pipelines of qualified talent to support current and future hiring demands.
• Develop sourcing strategies using job boards, community partnerships, referrals, social media, and events.
• Plan and support hiring events, job fairs, open houses, and community outreach to drive applicant flow and strengthen the Novelis employer brand.
• Manage candidate movement through sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, and onboarding coordination.
• Analyze recruiting metrics and labor market trends to improve hiring outcomes and candidate experience.
• Advise hiring managers on recruiting best practices and market conditions.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

The Novelis Talent Acquisition team is seeking a Recruiter to support hourly hiring efforts across our Ohio manufacturing operations. This role can be based at either our Ashville, OH or Warren, OH plant and offers the opportunity to partner directly with plant leadership while driving large-scale hiring initiatives that are critical to business success.

This is a highly visible, relationship-driven role for someone who enjoys being out in the business and connected to operations. The position is onsite five days per week and requires approximately 40-50% travel throughout Ohio, with occasional travel to other manufacturing locations. The Recruiter will play a key role in helping our plants attract, engage, and hire skilled hourly talent in a competitive labor market.

• Plan and support hiring events, job fairs, open houses, and community outreach efforts to drive applicant flow and strengthen the Novelis employer brand.
• Manage candidate movement throughout the recruiting lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer presentation, and onboarding coordination.
• Analyze recruiting metrics and labor market trends to identify opportunities to improve hiring outcomes, candidate experience, and time-to-fill.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers on recruiting best practices, candidate assessment, interview effectiveness, and market conditions.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience while maintaining consistent communication with applicants, hiring leaders, and HR partners.
• Leverage technology and recruiting processes to improve efficiency and deliver high-quality hiring outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably supporting manufacturing, industrial, logistics, distribution, skilled trades, or high-volume hourly hiring.
• Experience partnering directly with frontline leaders and operational stakeholders preferred.
• Proven success managing multiple requisitions across multiple locations in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong sense of urgency.
• Experience developing creative sourcing strategies and building talent pipelines in competitive labor markets.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills.
• Ability to work independently while effectively navigating multiple locations and priorities.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems; iCIMS experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering results.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 40-50% throughout Ohio, with occasional travel to other Novelis facilities.
• Bachelor's degree preferred
