Job summary

Hunter Hamilton is seeking a Recruiter for Manufacturing & Skilled Trades to support a brand-new state-of-the-art facility in Libertyville, IL, while based at the Buffalo Grove site. This long-term temporary role (~1 year) will ramp up hiring for the existing plant before the Libertyville launch, sourcing skilled technicians for direct-hire roles in a highly automated environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience in manufacturing, skilled trades, or a related technical space.
• Strong familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• High energy and a proactive, outreach-driven approach to sourcing.
• Comfort and confidence working within a manufacturing/plant setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for Automation Technicians, Injection Molding Technicians, Process Technicians, Maintenance Technicians, and other skilled roles.
• Drive proactive, high-volume sourcing beyond job boards via job fairs and community outreach.
• Build and maintain relationships with community colleges and technical training programs to develop a steady pipeline of talent.
• Partner with military transition programs to connect veterans with technical opportunities.
• Promote the Libertyville facility to generate local talent market awareness.
• Manage candidates through the full recruiting lifecycle using an ATS.
• Work on-site in a plant environment with hiring managers and the manufacturing team.
