Job summary

Intel in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Manufacturing Quality and Reliability Engineer to lead ramp qualification for high-volume production and to develop robust inspection and testing protocols. You will drive audits, supplier management, and continuous improvement across quality systems.

You will apply statistical methods and machine learning to manufacturing data, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and enhance product reliability and operational excellence within Intel's Foundry quality

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree with 6+ years in quality/reliability engineering, or a master's with 4+ years, or a PhD with 2+ years.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis methods (SPC, DOE, regression).
• Experience with quality systems, supplier audits, and excursion management in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with machine learning for data analysis and decision making.
• Knowledge of materials and processes in high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead qualification of manufacturing ramps to high volume.
• Develop inspection protocols and testing mechanisms; conduct audits for compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement to strengthen quality systems and efficiency.
• Manage supplier audits, change control, and excursion events.
• Represent quality in product development forums; recommend optimizations.
• Design early-detection systems and perform risk assessments.
• Apply statistical analysis and machine learning to manufacturing data.
• Collaborate with customers to address issues and improve reliability.
