Job summary

CPM Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the facility's Quality function, ensuring products, processes, and systems meet CPM, customer, and regulatory requirements.

The role partners with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to prevent and resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader on the manufacturing floor, establishing quality expectations and coaching the team to achieve metrics such as scrap

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressive quality experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, nonconformance management, and continuous improvement.
• Experience working with customers and suppliers to resolve quality concerns.
• Experience in fabrication, assembly, or similar industrial manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality department providing direction, coaching, development, workload prioritization, and accountability for team members.
• Maintain and continuously improve the facility’s Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with CPM standards and customer requirements.
• Partner with Operations and other functional leaders to establish quality expectations and ensure quality is integrated into daily manufacturing activities.
• Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor to identify concerns, support employees and supervisors, and resolve issues at the point of occurrence.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications, engineering drawings, work instructions, and CPM quality standards through appropriate inspection and testing processes.
• Develop, monitor, and communicate key quality metrics, including scrap, rework, nonconformances, customer complaints, cost of poor quality, and corrective action performance.
• Lead the investigation and resolution of internal and external quality issues, including nonconforming material and customer complaints, using root cause analysis, containment, corrective action, and follow-up.
• Maintain quality procedures, work instructions, control plans, inspection processes, records, and other required documentation.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Purchasing to address supplier quality and performance concerns.
• Coordinate and participate in internal, customer, supplier, and third-party audits and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Identify quality trends and recurring issues and work cross-functionally to implement sustainable process improvements.
• Provide quality-related training and support to strengthen quality awareness, ownership, and accountability throughout the facility.
• Build effective working relationships across departments and CPM locations to share best practices and support organizational initiatives.
