Job description:

Quality Manager
Lead Quality. Drive Innovation. Shape the Future of Manufacturing.

LMC Industries, Inc. is growing, and we're looking for an accomplished Quality Manager who is ready to make a meaningful impact.

As a diversified manufacturer serving the automotive and consumer products industries, LMC Industries operates in an environment where quality, innovation, reliability, and continuous improvement matter every day. We're seeking a strategic and hands‑on quality leader who can help take our manufacturing operations to the next level.

This is more than a quality management position. It's an opportunity to influence how an organization operates, develop talented teams, strengthen customer partnerships, and build a culture of world‑class manufacturing.

Reporting directly to the President, the Quality Manager will have the leadership visibility and organizational influence to identify opportunities, implement meaningful improvements, and drive measurable results across the company.

Why This Opportunity?

If you're the kind of quality leader who sees a problem and wants to understand why it happened-not just fix it, this role may be for you.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Lead transformation - Develop and execute strategies that strengthen quality performance across the organization.
  • Make an impact - Drive initiatives that improve customer satisfaction, reduce the cost of quality, increase productivity, and improve profitability.
  • Build great teams - Develop Quality Engineering, auditing, and metrology capabilities while creating a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility.
  • Work directly with leadership - Partner with the President and senior leadership team to shape operational and quality strategy.
  • Influence across the organization - Lead cross‑functional teams and collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Customers, and Suppliers.
  • Solve meaningful problems - Use structured problem‑solving, data, root‑cause analysis, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate recurring issues.
  • Strengthen our systems - Identify opportunities within the Quality Management System and turn them into sustainable improvements.
  • Develop people - Train and coach employees at all levels in quality methods, statistical tools, problem‑solving, and continuous improvement.
  • Support innovation - Ensure robust APQP and PPAP processes for successful new product launches.
The Role

As Quality Manager, you will be the organization's senior leader for continuous quality improvement and the ongoing development of a world‑class quality culture.

You’ll provide leadership for Quality Engineering and factory‑floor quality auditing while ensuring our processes meet customer expectations and applicable quality standards.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Lead companywide continuous quality improvement initiatives and sustain IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 compliance.
  • Establish strategies to address quality opportunities and improve overall manufacturing performance.
  • Lead efforts to reduce the cost of poor quality and improve profitability.
  • Own the response to customer concerns, complaints, rejects, and quality issues.
  • Build strong, proactive communication with customers and suppliers regarding quality performance and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action activities and ensure CARs are effectively resolved.
  • Develop and mentor Quality Engineering personnel while building organizational capability.
  • Implement statistical techniques and data‑driven approaches to support continual improvement.
  • Provide training in quality tools, statistical methods, and problem‑solving techniques.
  • Ensure APQP and PPAP processes are effective and consistently executed during new product launches.
  • Partner with manufacturing and other functional leaders to identify opportunities, remove barriers, and implement sustainable improvements.
  • Support initiatives that reduce waste, improve productivity, lower operating costs, and strengthen overall business performance.
What We're Looking For

We're looking for a leader who combines technical quality expertise with business perspective and people leadership.

You bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of manufacturing experience, including at least 5 years in a Quality Management leadership role.
  • Proven experience in a high‑volume automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Deep, practical knowledge of IATF 16949 and quality management systems.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Experience using statistical techniques and quality tools to drive measurable improvement.
  • The ability to develop, coach, and inspire people at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, production teams, engineers, and senior leadership.
  • The initiative to identify opportunities, take ownership, and turn ideas into results.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • ASQ certification(s) are highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
Your Impact at LMC

At LMC Industries, quality isn't simply about inspection or compliance. It's about building processes that consistently produce exceptional results.

The person in this role will have the opportunity to influence everything from how problems are solved on the production floor to how we launch new products, serve our customers, develop our people, and improve our business.

If you're ready to take ownership, challenge the status quo, and help create a stronger, more capable manufacturing organization, we'd like to meet you.
