Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead plan and direct engineering and manufacturing activities for a product line in the Dixon, IL area.

You will oversee world-class quality and provide manufacturing engineering support to ensure on-time delivery, safety, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The role requires strong supervisory skills and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• 3-5 years engineering experience
• Track record of successfully managed/facilitated product launches/programs or equivalent
• Available to travel with minimal notification in urgent situations

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and manufacturing activities to meet quality, safety, and delivery goals.
• Identify improvements to reduce costs, improve quality, and satisfy customers.
• Oversee safety, quality, and equipment utilization.
• Support capital planning, new product introductions, and process ownership.
• Prepare presentations for customers and management.
