Job summary

PPG is seeking Manufacturing Quality Leaders for various Ohio facilities. You will motivate and lead diverse quality teams, champion the PPG culture, and drive accountability across operations.

Responsibilities include establishing QC processes, improving standard workflows, and leading testing for new products and scale-up. You will hire and train technicians and collaborate with the QC Safety Team to uphold quality metrics.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of management experience.
• 5+ years of experience batch manufacturing quality.
• Experience with data management, Excel, Six Sigma/Lean, and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Establish QC processes and requirements and ensure consistent application
• Improve standard processes and workflows, set priorities, and support quality metrics and root cause analysis investigations
• Review and evaluate testing to assess training consistency
• Participate on the QC Safety Team
• Lead testing for all new customers/products including spec testing and qualification on new products/tech
• Lead Scale up testing for new products
• Hiring/training of new technicians
