Job summary

International Wire Group, a Pantheon Electric company, is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for our Boonville plant. In this hands-on role, you will inspect incoming and outgoing wire, perform quality-control measurements, calibrate testing equipment, and ensure materials meet established specifications before shipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in quality-control, inspection, manufacturing, or material-handling is preferred.
• Experience using measurement or inspection equipment is preferred.
• Ability to recognize product defects and follow detailed specifications.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect incoming and outgoing wire for defects, damage, or other discrepancies.
• Complete required quality-control measurements using established inspection methods and equipment.
• Operate measurement equipment accurately and document inspection results.
• Perform daily calibration checks on gram scales and other assigned testing equipment.
• Read and follow product requirements contained in Method Masters and related production documentation.
• Identify different wire types, reel sizes, and product specifications.
• Tag, identify, and process reels of wire accurately.
• Collect materials from the final inspection area and support the processing of discrepant materials.
