Job summary

International Wire Group, a Pantheon Electric company, is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for our Camden OWI plant. The role focuses on inspecting wire, performing quality measurements, calibrating equipment, and ensuring materials meet specs before shipment. You will support Lean initiatives and safety while partnering with supervisors and operators.

The position is full-time, on-site in Camden, NY, with a first shift from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in quality-control/inspection or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect incoming and outgoing wire for defects and discrepancies.
• Perform quality-control measurements using established methods and equipment.
• Operate measurement equipment and document inspection results.
• Calibrate testing equipment and read product requirements in documentation.
• Identify wire types, reel sizes, and product specifications.
• Tag and process reels, collect materials, and support disposition of discrepant materials.
• Back up production lines with appropriate feedstock and maintain organized storage areas.
• Move reels and materials safely, operate forklifts, and perform safety inspections.
