Job summary

International Wire Group in Camden, NY, a Pantheon Electric company, is hiring a Quality Control Inspector for our Camden plant. In this hands-on role you will inspect incoming and outgoing wire, perform measurements, calibrate equipment, and ensure materials meet specifications before shipment.

You will support both quality and production operations, back up lines with the right feedstock, and help drive safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in quality-control, inspection, manufacturing, or material-handling preferred.
• Experience using measurement or inspection equipment preferred.
• Ability to recognize product defects and follow detailed specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation.
• Ability to manage time-sensitive responsibilities and production priorities.
• Self-motivated with limited supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Strong record of safety, quality, reliability, and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect incoming and outgoing wire for defects, damage, or discrepancies.
• Perform quality-control measurements using established inspection methods and equipment.
• Operate measurement equipment and document inspection results.
• Conduct daily calibration checks on gram scales and other testing equipment.
• Read and follow product requirements in Method Masters and related docs.
• Identify wire types, reel sizes, and product specifications.
• Tag, identify, and process reels of wire accurately.
• Collect materials from final inspection and support discrepant-material processing.
• Maintain organized feedstock and reel-storage areas; store materials with proper signage.
