Job description

Quality Pressure Tester Inspector
7am-3pm weekdays

The Quality Pressure Test Inspector's primary role is to pressure test units at the final stage to ensure they do not leak before release. If leaks are found, the inspector will correct the issue or communicate it to Operations. Additionally, the inspector examines incoming raw materials, manufactured parts, and finished goods to ensure compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Pressure test finished units before release to ensure no leaks; fix leaks or communicate issues to relevant personnel.
  • Conduct inspections and tests (visual, dimensional, content, etc.) on incoming and WIP components and materials.
  • Use blueprints, schematics, and SolidWorks drawings as references.
  • Identify, quarantine, and document non-conforming parts or materials detected during inspections.
  • Maintain inspection records related to individual activities.
  • Use precision measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
  • Perform 100% dimensional inspections as required.
  • Verify and tag incoming components/materials for inventory purposes.
  • Conduct final inspections or audits of finished goods for conformance.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of manufacturing quality experience.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally, 25 pounds frequently, and move up to 75 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to work at heights up to 15 feet and use ladders.
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret job requirements, material specifications, shipping/receiving documents, shop drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Skill in using and maintaining inspection tools such as tape measures, calipers, and other gauges.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Quality control certification preferred; forklift operator certification desirable.
