Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Canoga Park, CA is seeking a Specialist, Quality Engineer to support the lifecycle of programs from design to supplier support. You will ensure requirements flow-down and drive quality improvements using Six Sigma and Lean methods.

Essential functions include interpreting drawings, leading corrective actions, and participating in design reviews to ensure producibility and quality. California salary range provided with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher required with 4+ years quality experience; Graduate Degree with 2+ years.
• In lieu of a degree, 8+ years related quality experience.
• Strong knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer requirements flow-down and hardware complies with specifications.
• Lead Six Sigma and Lean actions to reduce risk and improve processes.
• Lead corrective and preventive action with suppliers and board support.
• Interpret drawings and specs and participate in design reviews early in life cycle.
• Participate in Material Review Board and manage nonconforming hardware.
