Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Quality Engineer in Ohio to apply engineering principles and analytical methods to establish and continuously improve manufacturing processes and products.

You will implement corrective actions via 8D methodology, manage SPC activities, and lead cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues, with a focus on root-cause analysis and corrective action implementation.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED with automotive/quality experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM strongly preferred for higher level roles.
• Experience in automated manufacturing environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement corrective actions using 8D methodology and statistical tools.
• Manage SPC activities and data analysis.
• Define and monitor quality targets for each build.
• Identify and resolve quality issues with swift containment and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and Suppliers to drive improvements.
