Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to support process engineering activities across safety, quality, and productivity improvements. The role emphasizes application of engineering principles and analytical methods to advance continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and products.

The engineer will lead labor standards development, perform time studies, and coordinate with production supervision and UAW to resolve issues, driving cost-effective process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• Experience with time studies, cycle counting, ergonomics, and workstation setup preferred.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive development and installation of direct and indirect labor standards and methods.
• Track labor, manpower utilization and line balancing.
• Conduct Job Ergonomics evaluations and time studies.
