Job summary

Ace Precision Machining Llc in Wisconsin is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to ensure product quality in a precision manufacturing environment for aerospace, defense, and power generation programs. You will partner with manufacturing and engineering, develop inspection plans, lead disposition and corrective actions, and support NADCAP/FAA audits while mentoring staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 2+ years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing.
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, process control, and statistical methods.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CMM/advanced metrology is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Manufacturing and Engineering to define, control, and document product characteristics.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards for processes, materials, and products.
  • Create inspection, testing, and sampling plans with data collection and analysis.
  • Lead product disposition activities, including nonconforming material reviews and corrective actions.
  • Support audits (NADCAP, CASE, FAA, supplier, and internal) and lead timely responses.
  • Manage customer deviation requests and ensure proper documentation and tracking.
  • Facilitate internal and supplier corrective actions to identify and eliminate root causes.
  • Ensure inspection equipment integrity, including calibration procedures and metrology tooling.
  • Perform MSA to validate inspection accuracy and precision; support metrology efforts.
