Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 5-7 years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of GD&T, QMS (ISO 9001), and quality tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar technical field.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in quality engineering focusing on manufacturing quality.
• Proven ability to lead quality improvement projects and drive process improvements.
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Familiarity with QMS/ISO 9001 and quality tools (Gage, R&R, MSA, SPC, DOE).
• Experience using Power BI and Excel for data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality improvement projects addressing manufacturing quality issues.
• Analyze production and quality data to identify trends and solutions.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality problems.
• Contribute to containment of customer escapes and resolution activities.
• Help reduce COPQ and participate in stop-ship events when needed.
• Review prints and acceptance criteria for accuracy and compliance.
• Refine manufacturing processes to reduce defects and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with operations to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvements.
• Monitor industry trends and apply relevant innovations to quality practices.
