Job summary

Career Crunch is seeking a Quality Engineer III to provide QA support for manufacturing, driving the definition, implementation, and improvement of quality practices. You will guide measurement methodologies, lead audits, and act as a quality interface for production teams.

Responsibilities include developing inspection requirements, PFMEAs, data analysis, and fostering corrective and preventive actions across projects. Strong GD&T, DOE, ERP, and Minitab skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/industrial/engineering science is required.
• 6 years of engineering experience in machining or manufacturing is expected.
• Knowledge of quality systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Advanced blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
• Ability to operate and train on inspection equipment.
• DOE and Capability Studies statistical expertise.
• Proficiency with Minitab for analysis.
• Experience with ERP and quality systems.
• MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality engineering support for manufacturing and project management.
• Develop inspection requirements, PFMEAs, and maintain control and inspection plans.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Respond to customer complaints using failure analysis and corrective actions.
• Conduct audits and close audit findings with corrective actions.
• Coach and mentor junior Quality Engineers.
• Lead large projects with quality recommendations.
• Ensure inspection plans comply with customer requirements.
• Support validation of processes, equipment, and metrology.
