Job summary

Siemens Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to ensure the quality of manufacturing processes, products, and systems. You will implement and maintain quality control procedures, perform inspections, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing operations.

The role focuses on developing QCs, conducting audits, analyzing data to identify root causes, and driving corrective actions while coordinating with design and production

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field required; equivalent combinations of an Associate’s degree and relevant work experience will be considered.
• 2+ years’ experience as a Quality Engineer in a Manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing quality control plans to ensure adherence to product specifications and industry standards.
• Conducting regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and compliance issues.
• Collaborating with design and production teams to integrate quality control measures into the manufacturing process.
• Analyzing data and trends to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Performing risk assessments on manufacturing processes and work towards mitigating potential quality issues.
• Overseeing the production related nonconformities.
• Participating in the development and execution of quality plans for new products and processes.
• Providing technical expertise and support to manufacturing teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Staying current with industry trends and advancements to continuously improve quality systems.
• Representing Siemens in a customer-facing role, interacting directly with our customers.
