Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years supervisory or management experience.
• 2-3 years experience in quality control in a manufacturing environment.
• Planning and organizational skills in handling multiple projects.
• Proficient in MS Office including Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve customer issues and complaints relating to quality.
• Supervise quality inspection and testing activities to ensure accuracy, high productivity and high technical integrity of product throughout the production cycle.
• Generate spreadsheets for data collection and analysis.
• Review statistical data and product specifications to establish quality standards.
• Formulate, document, and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality objectives.
• Partner with the General Manager to coordinate objectives which maximize product quality/reliability and minimize costs.
• Create, document, and implement inspection criteria and procedures.
• Apply total quality management tools to analytical and reporting processes.
• Maintain an active role on internal continuous improvement teams.
• Interact with engineering and purchasing departments as necessary regarding vendor quality issues.
