Graphic Packaging International Irvine seeks a Quality Control Technician to support QA and CI functions on the production line. The role focuses on adhering to quality standards during sheeting, printing, cutting, folding, gluing, and packaging, with duties spanning inspection, sampling, and documentation.
You will collaborate with CI and QA teams to ensure product quality, safety, and compliance with SQF and customer specs, while maintaining SPC data and quality records in a fast-paced plant

The GPI Irvine Quality Technician will report directly to the plant’s Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager. It is the responsibility of the Quality Technician to administer the quality standardsfor all folding carton products and related raw materials during the sheeting, printing, cutting, folding, gluing and packaging processes to ensure adherence to GPI quality standards and any applicable quality procedures.
The Quality Technician will be responsible for performing the following tasks:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to lift or carry 10 to 35 pounds and occasionally required to lift or carry 36 to 50 pounds. Weights above this require team lifting.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is regularly exposed to dust, heat, cold, vibration, and potential work hazards. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Personal Protective Equipment is required at all times.
