Job summary

Daimler Truck North America LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Assurance Supervisor II to lead a QA team in High Point, NC. You will partner with Operations to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities include coaching the QA team, driving containment and corrective actions, and monitoring key quality metrics to sustain process excellence. This is an onsite role with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Business, or related field (or 6+ years leading teams in lieu of degree).
• Experience leading hourly employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5 Why, A3, Six Sigma).
• Knowledge of FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, APQP, PPAP.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all safety requirements in the production area.
• Lead, coach, and develop Quality Assurance team members to meet performance objectives.
• Partner with Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering and support teams to improve product quality throughout manufacturing.
• Drive rapid containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and verification to resolve quality concerns.
• Monitor quality KPIs (FTT, DPU, audit performance, defect trends) and drive improvements.
