Responsibilities

• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve lowest total cost for branch procurement activity
• Participate in Regional and National Bid projects
• Contribute to supply-based management programs for strategic sourcing and cost reduction
• Manage RFQ process and contracts to protect long-term company interests
• Maximize efficiency of the ordering process and monitor vendor performance
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve product issues and delivery problems
• Manage multiple vendors to ensure reliable material supply
• Support inventory control and loss prevention procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
