Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Purchasing Agent to secure the right materials at the right time and cost, supporting the fabrication of premium windows and doors. You will work with suppliers and internal teams to maintain inventory accuracy and manage risk across purchasing operations.

With 2–3 years in supply chain and strong analytical skills, you will drive cost reductions, monitor supplier performance, and coordinate logistics to ensure on-time delivery of materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or a related discipline.
• Experience with MRP systems, forecasting, or inventory management practices.
• Professional certification or demonstrated commitment to continued learning (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintain MRP drivers and update production forecasts to ensure optimal inventory levels.
• Build supplier accountability through performance reviews, scorecards, and improvement discussions.
• Analyze purchase price variance and identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Coordinate logistics, shipments, and supplier stocking plans to ensure on-time material delivery.
• Partner with internal teams and suppliers to manage risk, quotes, and new materials.
