Frontline Source Group seeks a hands-on Purchasing and Inventory Manager in Tomball, TX. You will oversee daily purchasing, inventory control, and material planning, coordinating with sales, production, vendors, and leadership to ensure material availability and cost efficiency.

The role requires a strong manufacturing background and proven ability to manage a small team handling inventory, shipping, and receiving.

Competenze

• Experience in a manufacturing environment with purchasing, inventory management, or material planning.
• Solid understanding of inventory planning: reorder points, safety stock, lead times.
• Experience creating purchase orders and coordinating with suppliers.
• Ability to analyze inventory data to base decisions on demand and operations.
• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and communicate across departments.
• Associate degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.

Mansioni

• Manage daily purchasing and inventory operations across multiple product lines.
• Create and manage 10–20 purchase orders daily with accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and establish reorder points and safety stock.
• Evaluate demand, lead times, and trends to support purchasing decisions.
• Coordinate with vendors on pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve inventory accuracy.
• Oversee cycle counts, material tracking, and inventory adjustments.
• Supervise staff responsible for inventory picking, shipping, and receiving.
• Collaborate with sales, production, accounting, and leadership on material availability.
• Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, pricing, and material records in ERP.
• Evaluate supplier price increases and inventory requirements to make recommendations.
• Identify and implement process improvements for purchasing and inventory operations.
