Job summary

Frontline Source Group represents a manufacturing company in Tomball, TX seeking a hands-on Purchasing and Inventory Manager to oversee purchasing, inventory planning, material availability, and daily inventory operations. This role partners with sales, production, vendors and leadership to ensure materials are available when needed, maintain optimal stock levels, and control costs.

The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience with purchasing, inventory management, and ERP experience;

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment with purchasing, inventory management, and materials planning.
• Practical understanding of inventory planning, reorder points, safety stock, lead times, and material requirements.
• Experience creating purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and managing material availability.
• Ability to analyze inventory data and make purchasing decisions based on demand and operational needs.
• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily purchasing and inventory operations across multiple product lines.
• Create and manage approximately 10 to 20 purchase orders daily.
• Monitor inventory levels and establish reorder points and safety stock.
• Coordinate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
• Identify opportunities to reduce purchasing costs and improve inventory accuracy.
