Job Summary:
As a Project Manager, you will oversee and facilitate the execution of complex customer orders within our manufacturing operations located in Rochester, NY, and Palmyra, PA. This role emphasizes managing large-scale industrial projects with a focus on order management. You will coordinate, plan, control, and complete projects within your responsibility area, either personally or through delegation.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical discipline from a four-year college or university.
Position Levels Based on Experience:
Project Manager I (PM I):
- Experience: 1-3 years in a manufacturing setting.
- Role: Entry-level, managing smaller projects, focusing on learning and growth in project management methodologies.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Results-Driven: Set and achieve project goals, ensuring success.
- Attention to Detail: Be meticulous in planning, documentation, and execution.

- Software Proficiency: Skilled in MS Project, MS Office, and MRP systems.

- Business & Financial Acumen: Demonstrate business-mindedness, identify growth opportunities, and manage financial aspects.
- Contractual & Organizational Skills: Understand project contracts and navigate matrix organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Order Initiation & Planning: Collaborate with sales, production, and engineering to understand order scope, develop project plans, and conduct risk assessments.
- Order Execution & Tracking: Monitor order progress, ensure standards are met, and communicate status to stakeholders.
- Scope Change Management: Handle scope changes, assess impacts, document, and communicate changes, ensuring contractual compliance.
- Customer Documentation & Submittals: Manage required documentation per VDR, coordinate with clients and internal teams.
- Billing & Invoicing: Develop billing plans, ensure accurate invoicing, and track milestones.
- Customer & Partner Relations: Act as liaison, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships with channel partners and customers, with travel as needed (~10%).
- Quote Evaluation: Collaborate during quote assessments with engineering and commercial teams to ensure feasibility and viability.
- Reporting: Maintain project documentation, generate status reports, and present updates to teams.
