Job summary

SKF in Sumter, SC is seeking a Project Manager to lead capital projects and process improvements, coordinating with engineering, maintenance, quality, and operations to deliver on-time results.

You will develop clear project plans, manage risks, communicate with stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement while aligning with SKF's safety and quality standards. 0–10% travel required; US citizenship or GC required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, Business, or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a Project Management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing capital projects, equipment installations, process improvements, or facility upgrades.
• Experience using Microsoft Planner or other PM software.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation to delivery, including product-related projects, process improvements, and development activities.
• Turn business priorities into clear project plans with scope, milestones, owners, and timelines.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, maintenance, quality, and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate project meetings, follow up on actions, and support timely decisions.
• Communicate clearly, timely, and effectively to customers on progress, risks, and successes.
• Track progress, manage risks and issues, and escalate when support or decisions are needed.
