Job summary

RedBrick Staffing is seeking a capable Project Manager to lead manufacturing initiatives from initiation to completion in a fast-paced environment. You will develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and schedules while coordinating across Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing/project management, strong knowledge of production processes, and proficiency with MS Office and PM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, engineering, or project management.
• 2+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production systems, and best practices.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and cross-functional project teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar).
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Define scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables.
• Monitor performance and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure projects are on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Coordinate activities among Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Operations.
• Provide regular status updates to management and project sponsors.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost performance.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive implementation of process improvements, automation projects, and workflow enhancements.
• Analyze production data and KPIs to support decision-making.
• Manage new product introduction (NPI) projects within manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate installation and commissioning of new equipment and production lines.
• Ensure manufacturing readiness for new products and process changes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on validation and qualification activities.
• Develop and manage project budgets and capital expenditure requests.
• Track project costs and forecast spending.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
• Ensure projects comply with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Support quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
