Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Project Engineer / Project Manager for a growing manufacturing operation specializing in custom steel and metal assemblies in Tennessee. The role blends engineering oversight with hands-on production coordination and client communication.

You will interpret technical drawings and customer specifications, manage budgets and schedules, coordinate vendors and internal teams, and ensure timely delivery of materials and project milestones.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial project management.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and customer specifications.
• Experience with steel fabrication or material handling products.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for customers throughout definition and execution.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and timelines with internal teams.
• Manage multiple active projects and monitor progress, costs, and deadlines.
• Provide regular updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Maintain project records and change orders.
• Coordinate with vendors and customers for timely delivery.
• Track production efficiency and assist with production planning.
