Job summary

Belcan is seeking a Junior Manufacturing/Project Engineer for Middletown, CT. This direct, full-time role supports multi-disciplinary teams using Agile methods, balancing long- and short-term project deadlines.

Responsibilities include shop floor presence, expediting material, and collaborating with the engineering team on rework and repairs. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/PM/Business and 1+ years in project/manufacturing engineering, with strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related STEM field.
• 1+ years of experience in project engineering or manufacturing engineering; internship ok.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and customer-facing ability.
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SAP, SmartSheets, SharePoint, or Teamcenter is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interface daily with customers; support projects, schedule meetings, report progress.
• Work five days per week in a customer-facing environment.
• Evaluate tasks, use engineering standard work, assign/monitor tasks.
• Develop action items and assign to responsible parties; ensure timelines.
• Provide metrics and trends for projections and visual data for presentations.
